My name is Alix Hanson, and I’m a strategist, writer and storyteller based in Minneapolis. I believe in the power of a good story. While I’ve held various communications roles — as a copywriter, brand planner, videographer and digital journalist — each has allowed me to realize my true strength: making complicated topics both understandable and compelling. I earned a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.

 

I’m originally from Virginia and moved to Minnesota from Washington, D.C. in 2019. While I’ve embraced the winters here and learned to ski, I haven’t lost my southern roots. I like my tea sweet and will gladly give Midwesterners who are still dumping sugar into cold tea a tutorial if asked. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, daughter and our golden doodle, exploring running paths along the lakes, reading thrillers, and attempting to bake!
